About the fit

We are always beating ourselves up about whether we are the best at this or th at or not. I always do. But today as I was thinking of someone for a certain role I considered someone who I never thought very highly of. However it's some culmination of characters in the person that made them perfect for the role. Made me realize that no matter how imperfect we may feel in the various shoes we try to fit into, it's the core of what makes us that's so precious to all those that love us in the roles we play in their lives.

Dandeli trip

KALI the name herself so powerful, so authentic...and the river so pristine. Loved every moment watching the river. The bends, the forks, the merges, the Rapids, the tree covered water paths, the serene openings, the Bahubali movie-like branches springing in the middle (call me a sucker for drama, but the opening scene of the first movie still gives me goosebumps :) The water was at the optimum temperature and some of us just wanted to lazily float around. The path we took for white water rafting on Kali was perfect for a novice - not too boring, not too unnerving; just the right blend. Took a couple of nature walks through the jungle abutting the riverflow, listening to the chirping of some hornbills and other local birds and clicked a bunch of pics with my shutterbug pals. Just breathing in the pure oxygen in that air makes you feel rejuvenated. The safari was interesting too though we didn't see much wildlife.
